Rezayat Procoat produces Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coated Reinforcement bars (FBECR), strictly in conformity with international standards.

The use of corrosion protected steel reinforcing bars is extremely important in concrete construction where a long life span is expected, for example in infrastructures and building foundations. This is even more important in areas with saline sand condition that is usually the case in Saudi Arabia and other Middle East countries.

The coating process is controlled by, and in accordance with, internationally recognised ASTM A77M standard. Throughout the process the unique bright blue PROBAR, coated by Rezayat Procoat specifically for high risk corrosive environments, is tested regularly by skilled quality control inspectors, covering a comprehensive range of tests such as epoxy cure tests, coating thickness tests, coating continuity tests, coating flexibility tests and coating adhesion tests.

Rezayat Procoat is proud to be one of the major players in the surface treatment of steel reinforcing rebar in the Kingdom and other Gulf countries. Spread over 4,000 square metres, its factory in Dammam Industrial Area is well equipped with technology epoxy powder coating, and has a capacity to produce 100,000 tons per annum.

In addition to producing FBECR 8 to 40mm diameter straight rebar up to 12 metres in length, Rezayat Procoat also has modern facility that can produce cut & bend rebar from the bar bending schedule and technical drawings provided by the client for their construction specific requirement.

The approved vendor/supplier status from major clients like Saudi ARAMCO, SABIC, SEC and other Government Ministries, Rezayat Procoat gained its professional industry membership to the Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute (CSRI). Its Quality Management System complies with ISO 9001.2000
